† where it all began;

event 001 Prior to his infection, Gabriel led a very normal life and was a caring, compassionate individual. His pursuit within the beauty industry landed him a promising modeling agency. However, this required him to take a leap of faith and leave home to another another part of the country away from Perth. To his dismay, he doesn't understand the culture and struggles to make connections with the given barrier. On the upside, he's been told he has a calming, nurturing disposition. He says he's naturally that way thanks his mom for how she and his father raised him.During an outing with a fellow of the community in early Feb, Gabriel was bit by a bat on the forearm while enjoying holiday festivities with company during a leisurely stroll down a bago vineyard maze. Unsure if he was bit at all, he thought nothing of the unusual contact other than the bat mistaking his waving limbs for food or an unseen obstacle. Continuing about his life and career as usual, he started to get sick in the following weeks and got progressively worse. Thinking it was the flu or a very intense cold, treatment wasn't sought until the infection had spread too far and Gabriel was finding it hard to function, let alone drive.event 002 By the time he'd received medical attention, it was too late. The infection of rabies not only spread, but was reacting strangely to his 'hybrid' chromosomes. For observational purposes, Gabriel was held in a CDC captive containment before the sickness took him and altered the state of mind, and corrupted the very fibers of his DNA. Safe from harm and safe from harming others or infecting them, the newly cursed Were was told the bad news of what happened when he finally woke up. Footage of his change frightened him, and for awhile he contemplated how he'd cope with this new illness. He was reassured by medical professionals and other staff who study his disease that it is possible to live a normal life. Continuing to receive a lot of therapy, he returned to the community as if nothing happened.. though he carries less of his joy to be inclusive out of fear of his new condition and will recluse more often than not.In the confines of his apartment, trying to cope with the new feelings and cravings of a werewolf without putting himself or others in harms way- it dawns on him what of his lover? Feeling a false sense of safety to go to them, he is met with a horrific scene of blood and body parts, or half-consumed ones scattered around the apartment- and the smell. The suppressed memories resurface to the forefront of the conscious mind, an unknown trigger- he'd changed, and ate the one he loved. Overcome with grief, he withdrew deeper into himself, rather than outreach to the help he was offered by the smaller secret association branched from the CDC for people of his condition. Now with the police on the lookout for him after it was a confirmed werewolf attack, he struggles with his own demons while running from being captured..

Alternatively, bestial eyes will trigger unconsciously when aroused, or under great distress; this unconscious trigger prohibits control that a calm demeanor can normally alter.
Bestial vision
Not so much an ability as it is part of his disease. This is the only aspect within Gabriel's control. At will the eyes can change to a deep gold, although a downside to this is his vision is no better than an actual canine. He loses the ability to see certain colors, enhanced nearsightedness and has trouble with brightness discrimination. However, due to this hindering him, it is mostly used as a scare tactic to ward off strangers.
Typical werewolf lore
Gabriel's affliction is impacted by the full moon, thus forcing him to undergo a painful process. He is the kind that stands on two feet rather than 4. Height is a whopping 7 ft (213 cm) tall and estimated 400 (181 kg) to 500 pounds (226 kg) of mass and fur. In form, his heightened sense of smell and hearing replaces what is lost in vision. The skin has become impenetrable outside of silver, or fire; and heals at a rapid rate. Wolfs bane is lethal both as a man as and a werewolf.
loss of consciousness and touch sensitivity
Of the many side effects that come with Lycanthropy affliction, in form, Gabriel's consciousness is gone. What happens during his time under the full moon is done as a rabid, starved wolf. Memory for the following morning is hazy or completely nonexistent of what transpired that night. There are also some canine behaviors that will show up as a man.
The final is not a typical or known issue to werewolves, but particularly to Gabriel and how his disease impacts him. If Gabriel does not consume red meat often, his beast within will starve, and trigger a hypersensitivity to touch from humans. Therein, If unable to feed his beast with red meat, it will replace with a insatiable hunger for human flesh. Supernaturals who take on, or have a human form don't aggravate this sensitivity. Alcohol however, if consumed in heavy quantity can temporarily quiet bestial hunger, and allow for basic human interaction, but this is band-aid only.

They quickly became good friends, bonding over their shared sense of humor. As time passed, they felt more comfortable around each other and eventually developed romantic feelings by February.They decided to leave Korea for a more accepting LGBTQ+ environment and returned to Damien's home country, Australia, to start fresh. They dream of living in a van, but juggling the move between countries, a 9-year-old miniature pinscher, and the challenges of hybrid life has made it tough to achieve their vision of a peaceful existence.

The police, a grieving family and the CDC are looking for him. He'll do whatever it takes to stay away. .In this verse Gabriel masquerades around as a tough guy
The lengths he'll go to to hide his pain, from but not limited too; stealing, getting into drugs or with the wrong crowds, or even becoming a criminal. Constantly on the run from his nightmare.

He's a recovering alcoholic, and there's a notable attempt at being a good person verses the first verse which is more self serving.
